This youthful patient presented to practice wearing a plastic denture to replace the missing front tooth. Needless to say she hated wearing it and asked if a non-removable long-term solution was possible. The two options available to this patient would be a bridge which would involve cutting down of the healthy adjacent teeth or an implant supported crown. A dental implant placed to replace the missing root followed by a crown on top was the most predictable, tissue preserving solution for this patient.
