When several back teeth are missing, we can use dental implants to support bridge-work that will replace the missing teeth. In other words we do not need to place an individual implant for every tooth we wish to replace. As you can see from the pictures of this case, 4 implants were used to replace 6 teeth to restore function and aesthetics for this patient. The pictures show the various stages of the treatment process, from the implant uncovering (following 3 month healing period) to the final restorations in-situ.
